This is very, very awesome dress. It's by a brand named numph. The 'u' [in numph] has two circle-y things on top, but I don't know how to do those. The dress is great for spring, with the flowers and the airy-ness to it. It looks like she's in an art studio. Great picture. I actually have a jacket that I'm wearing today is from numph. You can buy numph clothing at a store called Spank, on commercial drive, Vancouver, BC They sell really, really nice clothing there that is out-of-the-ordinary-cool. Different, but great. The address is 1027 commercial drive. Check it out. Their website is really easy to remember, it's: www.spankclothing.com, and/or you can look them up for pictures on google. Also, quick, fun suggestion: Find a mantra. Put in in your locker, binder, on your computer screen, or somewhere where you look at a lot, and you'll remember it. Mine's: Be happy!! You can use my example if you want, but it really does help lift my spirits, OR, another good, short idea is a word that describes yourself this school year, like: Happy, energetic, friendly, fun, etc...
Be happy!!

Necklace

I thought I'd pick a different kind of picture today. This necklace is really pretty. It would go great with a little black dress, or white floaty top. I got this picture from shopittome.com. It's a website where you can create an account, and choose from a whole bunch of different brands and designers, then choose a few other things, and then you select when you want an e-mail to be sent, and it sends you clothing from different brands and designers (Pictures) and you can buy online! I don't buy anything online, but I get inspiration from the pictures. They have kids, womens, and mens clothing, jewelry, shoes, etc... Try it! You might like it! Happy (online) shopping!

Vanessa Hudgens

I really like this pullover. The waves and laid-back sweater are great. I'm looking for a sweater like that. Either grey or a berry color, sort of a cashmere-y texture, and boatneck. Although the sweater Vanessa's wearing would do too. Really pretty. Today it's a nice sunny day, and I'm stuck with a stupid cold. Hopefully I'll get better by tomorrow. I had plans for tonight, but they were ruined, thanks to my cold and staying up late at earls last night. Not my choice. It was my mom's birthday and she made me stay really late. Today I have more energy though. Weird. Have a great weekend, everybody!

Lauren Conrad

Lately I've been really into outfits that scream: "DIFFERENT!!!" but awesome. Or: "UNIQUE!" Like this one. At my school ( Vancouver Technical high school ) The jacket beside the picture of Lauren is similar, but more school-appropriate-y. I mean, the jacket that Lauren's wearing is completely AWESOME, but the bomber is more..... Urban, maybe? I don't know. Not as daring. The black shoes that she's wearing complement the outfit like a dream too.
Here's a shopping tip: Shop at different stores. I used to shop at the same stores, but then I started shopping at places I normally don't, and shopping locally, and my style was instantly updated! Happy shopping!

I like this dress. Nice for fall. Today my grandma, my sister and I went to Brentwood mall in Burnaby, and bought my mom a birthday present. We bought three things altogether: 2 sweaters, and a nice pair of earrings, all for $45. I think she'll like them. Her birthday is on September 25th. I probably should have bought something for her earlier, but I didn't have time. Today my mom is teaching at arts umbrella until 3:30pm. I have been getting a lot of homework. BLAH! I'm soooo not in the mood to do it right now. I know I should, but I'm not feeling totally woken up, even though it's almost 3:30. I hope everyone who reads this has a good, productive day!

This is super cool. Somebody painted this on the sidewalk. The man you see, and the black pole (Where he's holding it ) are real. The rest is an illusion. It only looks as if he's sliding down a pole into a city below the city.

School style

This is Michelle Trachtenberg, again. This outfit you could wear to school. Pleather jackets are in, and that shirt is cool. The rest of the outfit is ordinary, so the outfit isn't the most eye-caching ever, but it's low-key-nice. Believe it or not, I'm on top of all of my homework! (I guess the being really organized really helped!) And that is living proof that being organized is the key to succeeding. Also don't forget to study and pay attention in class, and ask for help WHENEVER you need it. I used to be too shy to ask for help, but that only made me JUST pass instead of at the B average. Tell me: How is school going, to all of my followers?

I'm soooooooo sorry that I haven't been able to blog in about three days!!! I was planning on making this sort of a daily blog, but apparently now that's ruined. Oh well. I'll try to make up for it.
On the 7th, I went to Mumbi's batizado ( Portugese capoeira baptizing ), on the 8th it was the first day of school and it was hectic, because I'm going into high school for the first time ever and I don't know much about it. On the 9th ( Yesterday ) was my first real day, and that was hectic too. But I finally mastered how to open my lock for my locker!
Today ( Wednesday September 10th, 2009 ) Was my second real day. I'm finally starting to get familiar with my school system.

This is a picture of Selena Gomez ( The same girl from my last picture ). Her outfit really spoke to me. I love Selena's style. A nice pencil skirt, a black tank top, and a printed tank top with cute black wedges is a perfect back-to-school look. I don't know where this picture was taken. I can't believe all the homework that I have! It's overwhelming!!! Hopefully I'll get a good sleep tonight. That will be sure to help me unwind. Hopefully. The best way to do well in school is to stay organized, remember that! Because if you don't, then things will be even MORE overwhelming than they already are!!! I can't even imagine that.

Selena Gomez's headband

I love this picture! I really like hippie headbands! This one is from COACH. ( COACH is a company/store that makes leather purses and keychains, jewelry, etc... In this case, headbands ) It's really expensive, and I'm really money conscious, so that's why I don't have anything from there, but I really want that headband because it's so beautiful!!! I also can't believe that school starts tomorrow!!!!!! AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!! I'm so excited!!!!! Everybody enjoy the last day of summer vacation!!!!!!

This is another picture of Michelle Trachtenberg. This is another cute back-to-school look. The dress is very school appropriate, and Michelle dresses it up a bit with a long gold necklace, cute headband, cream colored clutch, and black mary janes. If I were to wear this outfit, I'd wear flats, but with the same design ( Just minus the heels, because I'm not allowed to wear high heels ) and I'd be happy.

I can't believe I only have three more days until school starts and summer vacation is OVER!!!!!! AAAAAHHH!!!!! Although, starting school isn't all bad. Examples: You get to meet new people, you get new clothes ( Which means shopping for the perfect back-to-school outfit! ), you get to see your friends an update them on what happened this summer and what classes you have together..... But the bad parts are: Not being able to open your locker, homework, mean people, getting lost, etc...
Anyway, I was looking at pictures and I found this one, and it reminded me of school for some reason. Maybe it was the boarding school esque jacket. But I really like the outfit. It's...... Chic. Something I'd wear. ( With a skirt under the jacket though, because those tights are really see-through ) Happy last days of summer vacation everyone!!!! Make the most of them - even if it's rainy!

The first picture is a picture of Camilla Belle. The second is an Alexander Mcqueen model on the catwalk. I saw this dress in a magazine, ( I forget which one ) and I loved it! It was just SO eye-catching! I couldn't stop thinking about how awesome it was! I don't really like Camilla Belle, but I love this picture. Tell me what you think!

Michelle Trachtenberg

This isn't the best picture of her, but it was the best one I could find. Her hair and lips look amazing here, and she paired a plummy trench coat with a blue-ish gray scarf and leather (I'm not sure if they're fake or not) black gloves. Very chic. Behind Michelle is Blake Lively in a similar outfit.

Rihanna

This is a picture of Rihanna at a Chanel fashion show, I think. Anyways, I really like the outfit. A purple, zip down sweater-dress is really cool. The design is different too. I've never seen anything like this kind of outfit.Rihanna has great style, in my opinion.

Runway pictures

These outfits are from a new york fashion show fall collection ( I forget which one ) I hope you find these inspiring. For the pink picture, I like the third outfit the most. It's cute.

The same with the ruffles picture. The third outfit is best I think. Very flamboyant and fashion-forward. These pictures are fun to look at. The hairstyles on most of the models are really nice too. They also don't look too hard to do.

Street style

This isn't my favorite outfit ever, but the style is very inspiring. I can't believe this isn't from a photo shoot. This is just street style from Berlin. It's really cool. The dark wash skinny jeans and scenery t-shirt are really different. But great.

Today it's kinda cold and gray outside. It makes me think of a rainy day-chic outfit, like a trench coat, knee high black boots, hair down, and a classic black umbrella in the city. Classic. I don't think that [look] will ever get old. This picture was taken at Shannon falls when the whole french immersion (I'm in french immersion) was having a Quebec exchange and the Quebec people were here. I know this picture I'm not wearing a trench coat, or knee high boots, or am I in the city, but I remembered this picture and it brought back good memories. My best friend took this picture. She's not a professional photographer, but she's pretty good.
